EXECUTIVE PRODUCER Sir Derek Jacobi

Derek Jacobi is an award-winning actor, whose long, illustrious career has seen him conquer stage, film and television. Jacobi made his feature film debut in "Othello" (1965), in the role of Cassio. Other heralded film work includes "Gosford Park", "Gladiator", "The King's Speech", "Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon", "The Day of the Jackal", "The Odessa File", "Tolkien", and "Murder on the Orient Express". On television, he found great success in "I, Claudius", for which he was awarded the BAFTA for Best Actor, before continuing to garner high praise for roles in "Cadfael", "Last Tango in Halifax", "Vicious", "The Crown", "Good Omens", "Doctor Who", and gave Emmy award-winning performances in "The Tenth Man" and NBC's "Frasier".

WRITER-DIRECTOR David Bartlett

Born in Bristol, England, former child actor and journalist David began his career as a director at the BBC – his first drama work as director of landscape photography for Happy Birthday Shakespeare. His first film drama The Goodbye Plane was shortlisted for an Academy Award. Alongside hit American shows such as Locked Up Abroad, Dangerous Persuasions (his episode Highway to Hate winning a CSC Award for Best Cinematography) and Paranormal Witness for SyFy, David has directed the BBC’s prime-time Casualty and written and directed acclaimed dramatizations of The Great Train Robbery, The Assassination of JFK and The Hitler Diaries for the BBC. David also wrote and directed TV feature Trial of the Knights Templar for Channel Five, and was recently lead writer and drama director on Race For The White House for CNN and Netflix. David is currently co-writing the adaptation of a best-selling US novel for television.

PRODUCER Will Poole

In 2003, Will established Kewhaven Pictures with David Bartlett and produced The Goodbye Plane, described as a “Tour de force!” by Shaun Usher, film critic of The Daily Mail. Will worked for the global children’s TV network Nickelodeon as Production Manager and later as Head of Production. In 2014, he set up Smart Films and has production-managed content for The Walt Disney Company, Channel 5 and BAFTA and Broadcast Award-winning series for production company Darrall Macqueen for whom he is currently serving as Line Producer on a 14-part family drama for a major US streaming service. He has served on the executive board of the New Producers Alliance, The Production Managers Association and is a member of BAFTA.

CASTING DIRECTOR Michelle Holmes

Michelle worked as an agent for Campbell Associates in 2001 and then set up Williamson & Holmes in 2005 with Jackie Williamson. Moving into offices in the heart of the West End, the two steadily grew the agency to six agents representing a wealth of talented, successful actors and children in international TV, film, theatre, musical theatre and commercial projects. After 18 years of a very rewarding and enjoyable time as an agent, Michelle decided to retire and look for new challenges. Michelle says: “It was then that David Bartlett kindly approached me to cast his beautiful film, Mousie. It was such a wonderful creative experience to see how things worked from ‘the other side’ of the business!” Since then, Michelle has cast feature film Stairs for director Tom Paton.

CINEMATOGRAPHER Paul Kirsop

Trained in England, Paul is an international cinematographer whose work first came to prominence in the BBC drama Murder In Rome. Since then, he has photographed high-end commercial subjects (Victoria’s Secrets campaigns etc) US series (including Locked Up Abroad, Forbidden, Paranormal Witness and The Bush Years for CNN) and BAFTA Award winner The Plot To Bring Down Britain's Planes. He has also worked on British dramas such as Collateral and Hunted.

Mary-Jane has costumed countless BBCTV drama classics, including Quatermass, Love Soup and David Renwick’s comedy-drama Jonathan Creek. For Amazon, she designed costumes for ice-bound thriller Fortitude, and for ITV she has dressed Amanda Redman and other artists in The Good Karma Hospital, and high-end period classic Endeavour. Other notable work as costume designer includes Mad Dogs for SKY; television movies The Debt and Outside The Rules for BBC; and Peter Kosminsky’s BAFTA-winning No Child of Mine for Meridian. Mary-Jane’s work in feature films includes Broken Thread; My Kingdom; Honest; Gabriel And Me; There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble; Fever Pitch; Dark Obsession; Housekeeping; Crossing The Line; The Truth About Love; Neville’s Island; My Son The Fanatic; Nicolas Roeg’s Hotel Paradise; Adrian Shergold’s moving and shocking Pierrepoint, starring Timothy Spall; and The War Zone for director Tim Roth.

Duncan started as an edit assistant and then undertook a two-year project as a news editor in Baghdad during the Second Gulf War, and has since cut drama-docs and documentaries for all major UK and US broadcasters. Duncan's work includes the ground-breaking Live from Space: Houston, We Have A Problem (broadcast live from the International Space Station) and the harrowing Afghan war documentary Taking Fire. Having cut many episodes of US action series Locked Up Abroad and the record-breaking Discovery Channel series Gold Rush, Duncan edited Channel Four feature documentary Miracle of The Hudson Plane Crash, Race for the White House for CNN and Netflix, and The Celts for BBC Two. Most recently, he has edited several episodes of much-acclaimed immersive series Reggie Yates: The Insider for the BBC.

Jack Arnold is a BIFA-winning and RTS-nominated composer and producer working in feature film, television drama and documentary on a wide range of award-winning projects. Recent work includes the critically-acclaimed feature film Wild Rose, the winner of BAFTA Scotland’s Best Picture Award for 2019 - and the film for which Jack won the 2019 BIFA for Best Music. Featured in the film, Jack produced the song "Glasgow (No Place Like Home)", which was shortlisted for Best Song at the 2020 Academy Awards, and won several other major industry awards. Jack has also scored thriller series The Level for ITV1, and comedy drama series Loaded for C4/AMC.

Laura has transformed the look of actors and actresses across a variety of period and contemporary film and television series and features, including BBC comedy series Scallywagga and Psychoville; also The Fades, Hiroshima and A Most Mysterious Murder for the BBC. For other channels, Laura has worked on Skins for E4, Psychobitches for Sky, and Place of Execution, Collision and Secret Diary of a Call Girl for ITV. Laura’s recent credits as designer include Death In Paradise and By Any Means for the BBC, and with David Bartlett on Locked Up Abroad. In feature films, Laura has worked as chief hair stylist on Cheerful Weather For The Wedding; London Has Fallen (Lionsgate/ Grammercy/Millennium Films) and personal make-up artist to Jane Seymour on Austenland (Fickle Fish Films). Recently, Laura worked as hair and make-up designer on Let Me Go (Intrust Films).

PRODUCTION DESIGNER Mark Paine

Armed with a degree from art school, Mark drifted into film and television, and ended up at BBC Television Centre where he was trained as a designer. Still going after 30 years, his credits as Production Designer or Art Director include: Harold Pinter’s Old Times, A Touch of Frost, EastEnders, Holby City, Casualty, The Bill, Family Affairs, Where the Heart Is and “BBC Screenplay” strand classic Loving Hazel. Early in his career, Mark also worked on several comedy classics including The Making of David Chizzlenut, You Rang M'Lord?, Mulberry, and The Benny Hill Show for Thames. Mark has also worked on TV features Beyond Fear and The Mushroom Picker; Australian feature film Passion; and the forthcoming Horrible Histories: the Movie for BBC Films /Silver Reel/ Altitude / Lorton Entertainment.

ART DIRECTOR Kelly-Anne Robson

Kelly-Anne began her TV career as a scenic artist, painting cool, big stuff for the likes of Graham Norton, Ralph Lauren & David Bowie. Having fallen for the fun of telly, she moved into art directing and worked on live TV shows with Ant and Dec for ITV, and on the Jonathan Ross and Harry Enfield shows. She moved around various entertainment series, culminating in five brilliant years at Nickelodeon as Chief Slime Bucket Mixer. Following an interlude to grow a pretty little baby, Kelly-Anne re-joined the fold as a freelance Art Director. For the past eight years or so, she has been flitting between TV and commercials, working for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Disney, Nickelodeon, Discovery Channel, So TV, Hot Sauce TV and Tiger Aspect.

Matt has been working as a First AD all over the world for over ten years, principally in the field of music videos and commercials, including high-end campaign shoots for Adidas, Thomas Cook, Bentley, Pepsi, Jaguar, Hyundai, Renault, Range Rover, Stena Line and Vidal Sassoon. He has also orchestrated shoots for the RNIB, ChildLine, RSPCA, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Hope for Depression and Channel Four’s Disability campaign. Matt ran the campaign shoot for the relaunch of ITV's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?; dramas Dream Team and The Athena for SKY; dramatizations of The Great Train Robbery, The Hitler Diaries and War of The Worlds for the BBC; and feature films All Bar Love, Invisible Eyes and A Sicilian Dream, starring Alain de Cadenet. Matt also ran One Direction’s One Thing video shoot.
