Based in London, Kewhaven Pictures was founded by producer Will Poole (originally from North Wales) and writer-director David Bartlett (originally from Bristol, England) to make their debut film The Goodbye Plane, featuring celebrated screen stars Edward Hardwicke and Dudley Sutton. Involving the talents of other gifted artists including director of photography Andy Jackson, film editor Chris Roots and composer Miguel Mera, with a score performed by the Kensington Sinfonia, the film turned out to be a triumph.

Premiering at the Arclight Hollywood Cinema in Los Angeles as part of the LA Shorts Festival, The Goodbye Plane was described as “A beautiful film, very, very nicely directed” by Derek Malcolm of The Guardian, and “ A tour de force – quelle achievement!” by Shaun Usher of The Daily Mail. More reviews and the film itself can be seen here.

David and Will have developed several projects for screen since their first film, and Mousie is their latest completed, independent project.
